On October 18th, the ribbon cutting ceremony for the foundation laying and commencement of waste heat recovery demonstration project in Ningguo cement plant under the China-Japan cooperation
In March, with the joint efforts of the former State Development Planning Commission of China, the People's Government of Anhui Province, the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization of Japan (NEDO), etc., China's first pure low-temperature waste heat recovery project in cement plant with the aid of the Japanese government was completed and put into operation in Ningguo Cement Plant of Conch Group, which opened up a precedent for pure low-temperature waste heat recovery in the Chinese cement industry and also a chapter in the technical cooperation between Conch and Kawasaki.
On March 6th, the celebration ceremony was held for the completion and operation of waste heat recovery project for 4000t/d clinker dry-process kiln system in Ningguo Cement Plant. In the same year, the WHR project for Line 1 of Ningguo Cement plant was completed and put into operation.
In November, Conch Group began large-scale construction of waste heat recovery projects and regarded it as a priority industry during the “Eleventh Five-Year Plan”. Meanwhile, it also marked the acceleration of the cooperation between Conch and Kawasaki.
In December, Conch and Kawasaki invested and established Anhui Conch Kawasaki Engineering Co., Ltd. (ACK).
On September 27th, the joint venture signing ceremony of Anhui Conch Kawasaki Energy Conservation Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (CKM) was held at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.
On March 16th, Anhui Conch Kawasaki Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (CKE) signed the Cooperation Agreement formally, marking that the cooperation between Conch and Kawasaki has entered into a new stage.
In January, Conch and Kawasaki registered Shanghai Conch Kawasaki Engineering Co., Ltd. (SCKE) jointly in China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone, and the opening ceremony of SCKE was held on December 12th, 2016.
