ACK Successfully Passed the Surveillance Audit of ISO Quality Management System, Environmental Management System and Occupational Health and Safety Management System

To ensure the effectiveness and suitability of the operation of the company's management system, continuously improve the company's market competitiveness and strengthen the scientificity and standardization of the company's management mode, ACK specially invited the audit expert group of China Quality Mark Certification Group (CQM) to supervise and audit the management of the company's ISO Quality Management System, Environmental Management System, and Occupational Health and Safety Management System from August 5th to 7th.

At 9:00 am on August 5th, the audit expert team organized the opening meeting. A total of more than 20 people from management members and various departments attended the meeting. The audit team leader Mr.Xia Chenfeng introduced the audit team members, the audit purposes, the audit basis, the audit scope and the audit arrangements at the meeting, and made the requirements for the audit.

According to the audit plan, the audit team selected and checked the three projects of Wuhu South WHR, Qiyang Solid Waste and Surabaya WtE.

The audit conducted review from the signing of business contracts to the transfer and acceptance of the projects, from the projects’ initiation, safety assessment, environmental assessment, energy assessment, the main equipment’s handover compliance records, emission detection, performance assessment, risk management and control, etc. Through full communication with the site and various departments, and the review of documents and records, a system-wide audit and evaluation of the operation of the company's ISO Quality Management System, Environmental Management System, Occupational Health and Safety Management System.

External Audit Inspection

After detailed and careful review by the expert team, the closing meeting was held on August 7th. During the meeting, the audit experts fully affirmed and highly evaluated the operation of the company's system in combination with data access and leadership discussion, and put forward reasonable suggestions on the company's talent reserve, technology research and development, management model, and risk management and control. At the same time, the experts announced that ACK passed the surveillance audit for GB/T19001-2016 Quality Management System, GB/T24001-2016 Environmental Management System, GB/T28001-2011 Occupational Health and Safety Management System. 

Mrs.Li Zhaohui, Executive Vice President, expressed heartfelt thanks to the audit team for their guidance and put forward requirements for the company to further strengthen system management. She said: “ISO is International Standardization Organization. Although it is not a mandatory standard, many countries and departments attach great importance to the status and role of ISO because of its strong authority, guidance and universality in the world. The company should further enhance its attention to the ISO Quality Management System, Environmental Management System and Occupational Health and Safety Management System. We need to continue to implement the requirements of system standards, truly integrate the system requirements into daily work management, and further promote the improvement of the company's management level. At the same time, all departments shall carefully sort out and analyze the problems and suggestions raised during the external audit, draw inferences about other cases from one instance formulate improvement plans in time and earnestly implement them.
